Currently he is working as a Science Teacher in Pennsylvania and as an Arborist and Tutor for Center Valley Arborist Tutoring and Learning Academy, in Center Valley, PA.     After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Natural Resources from the University of Georgia, Bob completed a Masters degree researching water movement through wood in living trees. He became an ISA Certified Arborist while in graduate school, and is now a Board Certified Master Arborist. Bob is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, as well as the Society of American Foresters. Bob Specializes in delivering specific management plans for soil, disease, and insect issues. He has a passion for people, trees and the environment, and is looking forward to serving the tree care needs of Santa Barbara.

He’s a member of the tree advisory board for the City of Irving, helps with Arbor Day events in various cities, and is president of the Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council. Gareth is a native of Fort Worth, but is passionate about travel, experiencing other cultures, and learning foreign languages. Currently he is learning “proper” Spanish and is already fluent in German. Interests include travel, languages, history, world issues, wine, and outdoor activities such as camping, snow skiing, skeet/trap shooting, and gardening.

    Jack is an ISA–Certified Arborist who concentrates on the North Shore of Boston for Bartlett Tree Experts, based out of Beverly Farms, MA. A graduate of Bucknell University, Jack studied Environmental Geology and was captain of the wrestling program in his junior and senior seasons. Following his time at Bucknell, Jack completed coursework at Penn State–Mont Alto, Pennsylvania’s oldest forestry school, where he studied dendrology and arboriculture. While Jack is a native of Cape Cod and began his career with Bartlett in Osterville in May 2010, and he assumed the role in Beverly Farms as Arborist Representative in February 2014. In addition to his tree expertise, Jack spent time as a teaching assistant for geology and focused his research in energy, conservation, and land use. Jack also has experience working in Asia with an entrepreneurial energy company, developing rural electrification systems in the Philippines. Jack’s strong passions for people, the environment, and scientific tree care enable him to share his expertise and provide top quality service to his clients throughout the area.

Currently serving as President of the Plant Pathology Society of North Carolina with past board positions as Vice President, and Industry Representative. Current objectives/interests include providing diagnostic reports that visually inform and educate Bartlett Arborist Representatives and their clients through the use of digital photography.

Mahsa is passionate about environmental science, plant pathology, and molecular biology, and applies traditional microscopic methods and modern molecular biology techniques to diagnose plant diseases and pests. Mahsa is involved in different projects, such as: neonectria canker on concolor fir in NE, the poplar microbiome, nitrogen-fixing bacteria in poplar, root rot pathogen Cylindrocarpon in Douglas-fir nursery, investigation of mycorrhizal fungi in rare plant Hackelia, and DsRNA viruses in fungi.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University and a Master of Science in Forest Economics from Mississippi State University. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture, holds a Virginia Commercial Pesticide Applicator License, is a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional, is a Virginia Certified Horticulturist, and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified.

  • Local Manager – Annapolis, MD

    Tyler Balderson has been involved with trees and landscapes his entire life. He grew up in Montgomery County Maryland where he worked on his family tree nursery farm. His father, Andy Balderson, has been practicing landscape architecture in Maryland for over 35 years. Tyler’s passion for trees continued through college where he received his B.S. in Forestry from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in 1998. He brought his knowledge back to Maryland and began his career in arboriculture working at Treemasters, a local firm in Howard County, MD. In 2000 Bartlett Tree Experts acquired the company and Tyler began his 13 year career with the company here in Anne Arundel County, where he is currently the local manager. Tyler is a Board Certified Master Arborist, Maryland Licensed Tree Expert, Maryland Licensed Pesticide Applicator, and Certified Tree Care Safety Professional. Tyler volunteers on the Mid-Atlantic chapter of Arboriculture Board of Directors as well as volunteering at the local elementary school, where his 3 children attend, teaching students the importance of trees.
